CÆREFUSION

A flower shop fills a warehouse vase. We design the vessel first.

The vessel is the piece. The botanical is its guest.

One vessel. What it carries changes.
die haltung
A florist arranges. We choose — and place.

We go to the wholesale market in the morning, see what is there, and choose. Then we place it in a vessel — one stem, or a natural bunch of the same thing. No composition, no symmetry, no decoration.

No decoration. An honest part of the natural world — in its simplicity, its own dimensions.

More is not better. The right thing is better.

stæm
STÆM — the botanical.

Stems to the season, chosen by hand. A branch, a vine, a natural bunch — placed as it grows, not arranged. Whatever is good this week, in a vessel we curate or make.

pulse
PULSE — the fruit.

Whatever is good that morning. Whole fruit, never cut, on a GAR plate. Cherries in July. Quinces in October. Citrus in January. Something you want to touch — and may.

And for rooms that would rather not keep sugar on the counter: the vegetable plate. Radishes, sugar snaps, small tomatoes, raw — the same rule, whole and never cut, and just as easily taken.

gar · the vessel
Our vessels do not come from a warehouse.

We design the vessel. Selected earth from Polissia, made with a master of ceramics in the old Polissian techniques. An ancient form — Sumeria, Polissia, the land — carried by a contemporary hand.

The iron in the earth gives the vessel its colour. No two are alike. The vessel carries the energy of the delivery — the botanical is its guest. It travels; it changes with what it holds. GAR designs.

exclusive
Some vessels rotate. Others settle.

For a few spaces we make an exclusive GAR piece — a signature vessel that stays. Made by our maker from Polissia clay, decided for your room. One of one.

The opposite of a warehouse vase. An object you keep — and that carries the weekly gesture, new each time.
